This tutorial will show you how to paint a beautiful picture of the sea on photoshop. I named it “Dance of the sea”. The steps are simple and clear but the result is better than you could imagine.

Step 01

Create a new document with the background is white. I rename the Background layer to “Bien”

Step 02

Press F6 to open the Color Picker dialogue box, then set Foreground : R 0 – G 149 – B 218, Background R 255 – G 255 – B 255

Step 03

Go to the menu Filter->Clouds->Ok

Step 04

Create a new layer, called “Song”

Press M to select the Rectangular Marquee tool, then select the half of the picture like this

Step 05

Press G to select the Gradient tool

Please remember the Foreground is R 0 – G 174 – B 239, and the background is R 255 – G 255 – B 255. Then make a gradient from the bottom, you will have the result like below.

Step 06

Press Ctrl + D to deselect.
Go to the menu Filter->Distor->Ripper with Amount is 999 and size is Large.

Step 07

Go to the menu Filter->Distor->Ripper with Amount 999 and size is Medium.

Step 08

Go to the menu Filter->Distor->Twirl with Angle is 226

Step 09

Create another new layer. Choose the color is white and then pick the bird shape to make some sea-birds on our pictures.
