Is your desktop boring ? So, you want to make it look better ? I have the same thought, so I am going to help you how to make it more attractive. There are several ways to do, but I choose the dreamy style for the first one. I also uploaded the brush and materials for you guys.

Step 1:Prepare a new document size 1600×1200 (my resolution),and three pics:

Material 1

Material 2

Material 3

Put the third one at the bottom, the second one at top and the first one in the middle (layer order)

Step 2:Since the second one actually has the size way bigger than 1600 x 1200,Free Transform>Perspective it and move it around the canvas until you get something like this:

Material 4

Put this layer’s Blending Mode : Overlay

Put Blending Mode of the middle layer to Overlay too.

Now with the middle layer, apply Blur>Surface Blur on it,try to keep the value low to get the result similar to this one:

Material 5

(Compare with the original above to see the difference)

After that you will have something like this:

Material 6

Step 6: Pay attention the left side of the pic:

Material 7

Go back to the bottom layer and use Clone Stamp to erase the stars (remember to based on this pic to know which you should erase (you don’t need to erase all the stars of that side, you only need to decrease the amount of the stars and make it likes they are heading from the left-bottom to the upper-right corner.

Material 8

It looks ugly, but don’t worry,it won’t be seen once everything is done.

Next, create a new layer on top of the bottom one.Use Cloud Brush.

Put the Cloud between the mountain with the color of the cloud is #8b8b8b

Material 9

If you wonder how did the cloud go in perfectly like this,it is because after putting them.i use Soft Brush-eraser to erase them follow the idea that make it looks like they are behind the mountain.

Step 7 : Adding dramatic effect to this wallpaper

Use brush around (spam) but with a will make it likes these light balls are flying up to sky.And so on,the nearer they are with the screen, the bigger they get and reverse.(the brush I use)

Material 10

The three photos were used for this can be download here

So,as you all can see, with just a little bit of imagination and some basic tools we can create our own wallpaper from some photos.Though it might not be very good or beautiful, but it is yours after all,at least something to be happy about.

Good luck with doing this wall and on experimenting different walls.
