Professional car company website

This is a tutorial about making a template for your car website. It would bring the professional looking to your pages. Of course,you could apply these techniques for other sites.

Now,let’s begin.

Step 1 : Open a new document, fill the background with white, the size is up to you. I choose 800×700px. Use Pencil Tool draw 2 lines like the pic below, color scheme is also up to you.

Step 2 : Now I will try to make a logo for the company.Make it simple,no need to be complex. Use Pen Tool, draw like the pic below.If you are new to Pen Tool try to search and learn it from some tutorials out there.

After you have finished the step above, right click and choose Make Selection. Use Gradient for that selection and must do that on a new layer. About the color,i use : #FC610D and #F99A04. You guys can choose other colors though,as long as you guys think it is nice. Finally we have the pic.

Now just add some more good text and we will have right away a decent logo. The logo has a look of a simplified car.

Now we make the banner. You could make various kind of banner as you want. In this tutorial, I just make a simple one by using some layers with opacity settings as below.

Now I will use some different images and blend them in to make the banner complete (i use the waves here).Use an image of the wave, put it on top of the car’s layer but make sure it is under all of the squares.. Use the Blending Mode Soft Light for the wave, then use layer mask and Gradient Tool to cover some parts of the wave. …This is just a quick blending,you guys can use some other ways to make it better.

Next we will make the menu,tutorials for menu are a lot,so i will make it short here.Make a selection that is as long as the banner then fill the color like below.

Use Pencil Tool draw a line at the bottom with Brush size is 1px :

After that zoom it,and use Pencil tool draws two horizontal lines with white and black.Then make the opacity to 30% like this :

Duplicates the layers many times, add texts ta we have:

In the end make a selection that is big as half as the menu vertically.Fill the white color then make the opacity to 20-30,you have this:

The menu is finished,the template is almost finished.You guys only need to add some more elements by yourselves and the template will be finished.This is mine.
