Learn how to copy one image and place into another image with a transparent ghostly look.

1. Open Adobe Photoshop and go to File > Open and select the image, “The One Which Will Be The Ghost”, you want to insert into another photo.

2. Click on Image > Image Size and set the size to fit into your target photo.

3. Select the Magic Wand Tool Magic Wand Tool and click on the background of the picture. With the photo I used, I had to click a few times around the image to select it all. Note: this only works if there is enough contrast between the background & the subject of the picture. In this example, I changed the background of the image to all white so I could use the Magic Wand.

4. Right click on the image and select “Inverse”.
