Learn how to copy a picture of the American flag and paste it into your text.
1. Open the picture you want to add into the text.

2. Create a new canvas for your text by clicking File > New and set the height and width to the same size as the flag.
2a. Click on your “Horizontal Type Tool” Photoshop Horizontal Type Tool and select the text Verdana and type “USA” in your canvas.

3. Open your picture and press “Ctrl+A” to select the whole picture and using “Ctrl+C” copy that picture.
4. While your holding down the “Ctrl” key, click on your layer with text to select the text.
5. Now you’re going to paste the picture into the USA text. To do this, click on “Shift+CTRL+V” and the flag will appear in the text.
6. After you have pasted that picture into the text, press “Ctrl+T” and you can move the flag around to fit into the text how you want.
7. Now right click on your new layer with the flag inside the text and select “Blending Options” to add a “Stroke” and a “Drop Shadow” to make the image look better.
8. Your “Stroke” settings should look like the image below.

10. Your final picture should look like the image below.
